Trent earns PAC Offensive Player of the Week honors

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--Westminster senior Liv Trent (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

This is the first PAC weekly award of her career. Westminster's last PAC Offensive Player of the Week selection was Shelby Rambo on Sept. 2, 2024.

Trent helped Westminster secure a pair of important PAC victories last week, averaging 4.63 kills per set across eight sets played. She totaled 37 kills on 77 attempts with just 10 errors for an impressive .350 hitting percentage. Trent had a career-high 20 kills in a four-set win over Thiel on Wednesday before finishing with 17 in Saturday's four-set Homecoming win over Chatham. She added 22 digs (2.75/s) and four total blocks last week. The two double-doubles were her seventh and eighth this season. Trent's 190 kills this season rank second in the league.

Westminster will visit PAC rival Grove City on Wednesday. The opening serve from the Grove City College Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.
