White's four rushing scores highlight win over Saint Francis

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.---Senior Jayveerh White (Sharon, Pa., Sharon) rushed for four touchdowns and recorded his fourth-straight 100-yard performance in Westminster's 54-23 victory over Saint Francis Saturday afternoon at Memorial Field inside Harold Burry Stadium.

White finished with 15 carries for 166 yards Saturday. His four rushing touchdowns tied the Westminster single-game record, marking the first time a Titan has scored four rushing touchdowns in a game since Dak Britt at Thiel on Nov. 9, 2013. White is Westminster's first player to rush for 100-plus yards in four straight games since Dominique McKinley in 2015.

White got things going early, scoring from 45 yards out on the Titans' first play from scrimmage 1:47 into the game. He scored from nine yards out with 11:47 left in the second quarter and scored on a seven-yard run with just over one minute to go in the half, stretching the Titans' lead to 27-9 heading into halftime. White added a 34-yard touchdown to put Westminster up 47-16 seven seconds into the fourth quarter.

Junior Sean O'Shea (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) had five carries for 31 yards and a pair of touchdowns, scoring from one yard out with 6:16 to go in the third quarter before a seven-yard scoring rush with just under seven minutes remaining in the fourth. O'Shea added two catches for 43 yards and went 6-of-12 passing for 84 yards, including a 43-yard third quarter completion to sophomore Gianni DiSora (Pittsburgh, Pa., Upper St. Clair).

Sophomore Quentin Goode (Aliquippa, Pa., Aliquippa) finished 16-of-20 passing for 176 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with senior Brock Covell (Titusville, Pa., Titusville) on an 11-yard touchdown with 5:10 left in the opening quarter to give Westminster a 14-0 lead. Goode hooked up with junior Simeir Wade (Farrell, Pa., Farrell) on a 20-yard touchdown 3:30 into the third quarter to cap an eight-play, 86-yard drive.

DiSora finished with five catches for 47 yards. Covell caught four passes for 26 yards. The first quarter touchdown was his first of the year. Wade had a pair of catches for 34 yards.

Freshman Ashton Allison (New Castle, Pa., Neshannock) paced the defense with six tackles (3 solo) and a pair of sacks. Junior Aiden Fletcher (Tarentum, Pa., Deer Lakes) had six tackles (2 solo) while sophomores Devin Mila (Davie, Fla., University School) and Kai West (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley), along with freshman Cohen Bechtel (Halifax, Pa., Halifax), added five tackles each.

Westminster rolled up 507 yards of total offense (247 rushing, 260 passing) Saturday, surpassing the 500-yard mark for the first time since a 57-21 home win over Allegheny on Nov. 1, 2025. The Titans went 8-of-11 on third downs and scored on all six of their red zone chances.
