Westminster downed at Mount Aloysius

CRESSON, Pa.--The Westminster College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Mount Aloysius Wednesday night at Kelly Field. 

Westminster fell to 0-5-1 this season. Mount Aloysius improved to 5-2. 

Mount Aloysius scored two goals in the first half and added another in the second to secure the victory. Sophomores Santiago Fernandez (Lake City, Fla., Freedom) and Steven Morrison (Orlando, Fla., Jones) each had a shot on goal. Junior Aaron Snyder (Hatboro, Pa., Upper Moreland) made three saves. 

Mount Aloysius edged Westminster in total shots by a 15-8 margin and also finished with a 6-2 shots on goal advantage. Westminster had seven corner kicks to Mount Aloysius' four. 

Up Next:
Westminster hosts Carnegie Mellon (4-0-3) this Saturday at the UPMC Sports Complex. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
