Curtis third at Penn State Behrend

Westminster finishes third

ERIE, Pa.--Senior Monica Curtis (Harborcreek, Pa., Harbor Creek) finished in third place to highlight the Westminster College women's cross country team's effort at the Penn State Behrend Twilight Invitational Friday.

Penn State Behrend claimed the team title at the five program, four-mile event, finishing with 25 points. Behrend's Kelsey Hanna won the individual title after posting a time of 25 minutes, 05 seconds.

Mansfield was second with 44 points. Westminster totaled 56 points to finish third.

Curtis crossed the line in 25:31.

Freshman Gabby Armlin (Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh Central) cracked the top 10, finishing ninth with a time of 27:20. Sophomore Alexis Lefoer (Canfield, Ohio, Canfield) was 12th (27:55) and freshman Callie Reaugh (Blairsville, Pa., River Valley) was 14th (28:18). Freshman Abigail Perrine (Grove City, Pa., Grove City) finished 18th (29:03) and junior Madison Mamula (New Brighton, Pa., New Brighton) was 23rd (31:39).

Westminster will participate in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Preview next Saturday at Allegheny.
