Four earn All-PAC

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Four members of the Westminster College women's swimming and diving program were named as 2024-25 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) selections Friday afternoon. 

The all-conference swimming and diving teams are determined by a formula-based selection process using student-athletes' individual and relay finishes at the league's annual championships.

Westminster totaled 421 points at this year's PAC Championships, finishing in third place. 

Senior Sara MacMurdo (Pittsburgh, Pa., Carlynton) and sophomore Maddy McClain (Elizabeth, Pa., Elizabeth Forward) were named Second Team All-PAC while seniors Isabella Barnabei (Oakland, N.J., Indian Hills) and Amber Krebs (Whitewater, Wis., Whitewater) were named Honorable Mention All-PAC. Barnabei was also selected as a member of the PAC Sportsmanship Team, which was established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams.

MacMurdo: 200 medley 'A' relay (4th, 1:55.93), 800 free 'A' relay (3rd, 8:20.88), 50 free (4th, 25.03), 200 free (6th, 2:01.72), 200 free 'A' relay (5th, 1:45.17), 100 free (4th, 54.33), 400 free 'A' relay (3:49.72).
*2nd team in 2022-23, 2023-24; Honorable Mention in 2021-22.
McClain: 200 medley 'A' relay (4th, 1:55.93), 800 free 'A' relay (3rd, 8:20.88), 500 free (3rd, 5:22.80), 200 free (8th, 2:03.03), 200 free 'A' relay (5th, 1:45.17), 1650 free (2nd, 18:29.63), 400 free 'A' relay (3:49.72).
*1st team in 2023-24.

Honorable Mention:
Barnabei: 800 free 'A' relay (3rd, 8:20.88), 200 IM (10th, 2:21.95), 400 medley 'A' relay (6th, 4:28.95), 400 IM (6th, 4:58.56), 200 free 'B' relay (13th, 1:54.20), 200 fly (8th, 2:32.64), 400 free 'A' relay (3:49.72).
