His 17.1 points-per-game average currently ranks third in the PAC. Junior forward Alex Rothwell (New Middletown, Ohio, Springfield Local) registered his second-straight double-double, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Antone Baker led four Waynesburg players in double figures with a 22-point, 19-rebound double-double.

Rothwell's tip-in with under a minute to go in the first half gave the Titans a one-point lead, 35-34, going into the break. Weir had nine points in the first, going 4-of-6 from the floor. Junior guard Jaxon Hendershott (Salem, Ohio, West Branch) also had nine on 3-of-6 shooting from three-point range.

Tied at 45-45 less than six minutes into the second, Waynesburg rattled off six-straight points to go up 51-45 with just over 13 minutes remaining. Down 55-50, Westminster ripped of six-straight points of its own to go up one, 56-55, with less than 10 minutes left in regulation. Sophomore guard Justin Wypasek (Strongsville, Ohio, Strongsville) drilled a three-pointer to tie the game at 55-55 before Weir split a pair of free throws to give the Titans a one-point edge. Jalen Goins' jumper pushed Waynesburg ahead by one, 66-65, with just over four minutes to go. Fueled by a 9-1 spurt, Westminster jumped ahead by seven, 74-67, with less than a minute to go.
