Rossi named All-PAC

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College senior Christine Rossi (Jefferson Hills, Pa., Thomas Jefferson) was named an All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Tennis selection Friday afternoon.

Rossi was named Honorable Mention All-PAC for her performance at No. 1 singles. She finished with a 2-7 overall record and a 1-6 record in the PAC. Rossi, who missed the majority of the 2024 season due to injury, was named First Team All-PAC at No. 1 doubles and Second Team All-PAC at No. 2 singles in 2023. During her career Rossi was 18-17 overall and 6-10 in the PAC in singles action and 27-13 overall and 12-7 in the conference in doubles play.

Senior Grace Askey (Dubois, Pa., Jeff Tech) was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team for the second-straight year. The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams. Askey was Honorable Mention All-PAC in 2023 at No. 6 singles.

Westminster finished its fall season 3-7 overall and 2-6 in the PAC.
