Titans fall at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio--The Westminster College women's tennis program was dealt a 7-2 non-conference loss by the University of Mount Union Sunday afternoon. 

Mount Union pushed its season record to 3-10 overall while Westminster fell to 11-8. 

Trailing 3-0 after doubles play, freshman Emma Overlingas (Pittsburgh, Pa., Baldwin) and sophomore Grace Askey (Dubois, Pa., Jeff Tech) scored wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively. Overlingas won 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (8-0) over Emma Thornton while Askey defeated Emily Peel 6-4, 5-7, 10-8. 

Westminster closes its season out on Saturday at Seton Hill University. Doubles action is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
