Westminster falls at Penn State Behrend

ERIE, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis program suffered an 8-1 non-conference loss to Penn State Behrend Friday night at Westwood Racquet Club. 

Behrend improved to 6-5. Westminster fell to 1-7. 

Freshman Jacob Timonere (Ashtabula, Ohio, St. John) scored his third singles win of the year with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 3 over Aidan Piazza. 

Westminster will travel to Alliance, Ohio on Sunday to face the University of Mount Union. Doubles action is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
