Graduate student starter Madison Brown (Lisbon, Ohio | East Liverpool) improved to 7-3 this season with the game one shutout. She scattered five hits and struck out three in the win. Brown also went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice.

Scoreless through four, Westminster senior shortstop Alexis Yates (Oakdale, Pa. | South Fayette) doubled in sophomore pinch runner Danielle Teasdale (Cranberry Township, Pa. | Seneca Valley) before senior left fielder Ashley Wire (Poland, Ohio | Poland Seminary) delivered an RBI single that scored Yates to give the Titans a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fifth.

Latess' RBI double scored Wire after her two-out walk before Meholick drove in Latess.

Geneva responded with a three-run second, but the Titans reclaimed the lead in third on RBI singles by Latess and junior starter Elizabeth Malczak (Grove City, Pa. | Grove City)

Tied 4-4 after four, Westminster plated three runs in the fifth to go up 7-4. Yates drove in the first run of the inning and Latess capped the scoring with a two-out, two-run double.
