Box Score MEADVILLE – Westminster College men's soccer team suffered a 4-2 Presidents' Athletic Conference setback to Allegheny College Saturday afternoon.
Brady Napoleon notched a hat trick for the host Gators.
Westminster (0-1-1 PAC, 5-3-1 overall) out-shot Allegheny, 18-15 (13-8 shots on goal), including a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
Sophomore forward Connor Schmidt (Evans City, Pa./Seneca Valley High) and graduate student forward Tyler Caterino (Monessen, Pa./Monessen High) tallied for the TItans at the 16:17 and 55:30 marks, respectively. Senior Ivan Mojica (Santa Rosa, Calif./Elsie Allen High) was credited with an assist on Schmidt's score.
Allegheny (1-0-1, 2-4-1) answered with goals from Napoleon at the 23:09, 50:36 and 76:35 segments, and Shane Lisman at 33:12. Napoleon's first goal was courtesy of a free kick, and his second score was the result of Zack Ioli's header. Napoleon's third goal was set up by Gunnar Brettell.
Westminster senior goalkeeper Jad Jadallah (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield High) was credited with 3 saves, while Gators' goalkeeper Caleb Kendra collected 9 saves.
