NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Brooke Horvath, Amanda Lewis and Julia Redilla garnered goals Wednesday night, leading Westminster College women's soccer team to a 3-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference victory over St. Vincent College.
The Titans (1-0 PAC, 5-2-1 overall drilled 24 shots, including 13 on goal. Westminster also logged a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
Horvath (Murrysville. Pa./Franklin Regional High) harvested her 3rd goal of the season at the 7:14 juncture, assisted by sophomore McKenzie Powell (Harrison City, Pa./Penn Trafford High). First-year performer Lewis (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock High) lent her 2nd goal of the season at 14:36. Lewis assisted Redilla's goal at 53:31. Redilla (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley High) is a senior midfielder who forged her 4th goal of the season.
Morgan Murphy (Yardley, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie High), a first-year standout, made 1 save in 90 minutes in goal, while her counterpart, Madison Arnold, was credited with 10 saves for St. Vincent (0-1-0, 3-2-0).
Westminster will travel to Meadville, Pa. to go up against Allegheny College, 3 p.m., on Saturday.
