Box Score HIRAM, Ohio – Kai Haseyama tallied twice as part of a 5-goal first half as Westminster College men's soccer squad posted a 5-0 season-opening win at Hiram College's Joe Malmisur Stadium Thursday night.
In addition to the junior midfielder Haseyama (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito Academy), sophomore Adrian Jaminez (Kennesaw, Ga./Alatoona High), graduate student Tyler Caterino (Monessen, Pa./Monessen High), and senior Ivan Mojica (Santa Rosa, Calif./Elsie Allen High) also scored for Westminster (1-0), while Caterino, junior Antonio Ulizzi (Coraopolis, Pa./Montour High) and sophomore Lucas Toohey (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant High) were credited with assists for veteran Titans' taskmaster Girish Thakar.
The Titans tallied a 16-6 edge in shots against the Terriers (0-1). Goalkeepers Jad Jadallah (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield High) and first-year Kaiden Anthony split time between the pipes, accounting for 3 saves.
Hiram's C.J. Timm was credited with a handful of Hiram saves.
