BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Westminster men's tennis team won, 6-3, at Geneva in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Tuesday.
"After back-to-back defeats, the guys focused really well and came out ready to play right from the start today," said head coach
Jeff Layman.
Junior
Jimmy Oberlin (DuBois, PA / DuBois Area) earned a victory at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2. Oberlin also teamed up with sophomore
Jacob Mack (Carnegie, PA / Chartiers Valley) for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles.
The Titans also won No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6 singles, along with No. 3 doubles. Westminster improved to 8-3 overall and 3-1 in the PAC, while Geneva dropped to 3-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Westminster will next host Franciscan on Wednesday, April 20 at 4:30 p.m.
