ERIE, Pa. – The Westminster men's tennis team won, 6-3, on the road in a non-conference contest against Penn State Behrend Saturday evening.
Westminster (4-1) won four singles matches, led by first-year
Ellian Ascencio (Venetia, PA / Peters Township), who won, 6-4, 7-6, in No. 1 singles over Jonathon Laier. In doubles, the Titans won two matches, including No. 2 doubles with senior
Logan Mannheimer (South Park, PA / South Park) and junior
Sam Scotford (Poland, OH / Poland Seminary) winning 8-5.
Westminster returns to action Wednesday, March 23 at Mount Union. Start time is set for 4 p.m.
