NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster Department of Athletics has announced a partnership with Grossetti Performance to provide strength and conditioning training currently for football and volleyball.
"We're extremely excited to partner with Westminster College and help their student-athletes reach their athletic potential and the teams to continue to succeed," said owner and director of training Terry Grossetti. "Growing up in Lawrence County, I've always rooted for Westminster's success and now it's extremely fulfilling to be part of it!"
Grossetti Performance, who has worked with athletes at all levels including NFL players, will create and implement a workout regimen for Westminster student-athletes to help reach their maximum performance.
"As we continue to build our football program into a national contender, it was obvious to our staff, as well as our athletic director Jason Lener, that we needed to provide our players with an increase competitive edge in sports performance," said head football coach
Scott Benzel. "We are extremely blessed to have Terry Grossetti and Grossetti Performance working with our young men. Grossetti Performance's reputation and his familiarity with Westminster made this an easy partnership from our standpoint. The ability to recruit top notch student-athletes that want to be the best makes this a great fit."

Tammy Swearingen. "I shared with our athletic director Jason Lener that strength and conditioning were an obvious weakness. Having the opportunity to partner with Grossetti Performance will enable our student-athletes to take that next step. The team is excited to have that expertise and individual attention, Being able to provide this opportunity to have our volleyball team receive this focused attention is very exciting and I can't wait to see how it benefits our team in 2022 and in the future."
