LATROBE, Pa. - The Westminster volleyball team shut out Saint Vincent on the road in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) bout Thursday night.

Westminster (14-4, 6-0 PAC) won the first set, 25-21, by having a multitude of three-point runs to edge out Saint Vincent (5-7, 2-5 PAC). During the 25-20 win in the second set, Westminster took the lead after a 5-0 run which started from a service error by Saint Vincent, making the score 22-18. The third set started in a back-and-forth frenzy, until the Titans caught fire in a 6-0 run gaining control of the set, which led to a 25-18 victory.

Titan sophomore Lauren Lampus (Sarver, PA / Freeport Area) led the charge with a match-high 13 kills, followed by senior Maya Steward (Los Angeles, CA / William Howard Taft) with 11. Senior Samantha Kelly (Irwin, PA / Penn-Trafford) added to the offensive attack with a match-high 29 assists. Locking it down on defense was Steward, who registered a three-set career-high 24 digs and sophomore Malia Duffy (Allsion Park, PA / North Allegheny) with 16 digs. Junior Kaylee Sciubba (Tarentum, PA / Deer Lakes) tallied a match-high four blocks.
