NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster women's tennis team lost their first match of the season, 9-0, to fifth-ranked Carnegie Mellon in a non-conference contest at home on Tuesday.
Titan first-year
Amanda Barrett (Sarasota, FL / Suncoast Polytechnical) fought hard at No. 1 singles, however, lost in a tiebreaker, 6-0, 7-6 (7-3).
The Titans fell to 4-1 on the season, while the Tartans improved to 11-0.
Westminster is back on the court Sunday, April 11 with its home regular season finale against Saint Vincent at 1:30 p.m.
