BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Westminster men's tennis team took down Geneva, 5-4, in the PAC Tournament Quarterfinals on the road Tuesday to advance to the next round.
Sophomore
Jimmy Oberlin (Pittsburgh, PA / Quaker Valley) defeated Geneva's (3-6, 3-3) Alex Greissinger in a straight-set victory (6-0, 6-1) at No. 3 singles and also paired with junior
Logan Mannheimer (South Park, PA / South Park)to claim another win at No. 2 doubles for Westminster (5-3, 3-3 PAC). Senior
Collin Kelly (McDonald, PA / Canon McMillan) added another singles victory for the Titans, winning, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 5, followed by junior
Anthony Esposito (Brockway, PA / Brockway) earning the win at No. 6 (6-2, 6-1) in his singles debut. At No. 3 doubles, senior
Alec Rich (Trafford, PA / Penn Trafford) teamed up with junior
Noah Weiss (South Park, PA / South Park) to shut out the Geneva duo, 8-0.
Westminster will take on Grove City College in the PAC Tournament Semifinals Friday, April 30 in Grove City, Pa. The match will start at 1 p.m.
