NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster women's tennis team took down Saint Vincent, 9-0, in a home Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Sunday.
The Titans dominated the singles matches with first-year
Amanda Barrett (Sarasota, FL / Suncoast Polytechnical) leading the way with a 6-0, 6-1 No. 1 singles win over Maura Skeller. Westminster (5-1, 5-0 PAC) didn't drop any singles matches to Saint Vincent (1-4, 1-4 PAC), earning their fourth shutout of the season. First-year
Caroline Fox (Acton, CA / Vasquez) rounded out a successful day at singles, earning a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at No. 6 singles.
The Titans also did not give up a game in doubles action. Barrett paired with senior
Julia Serbati (Oil City, PA / Oil City) to claim an 8-0 victory over the Bearcats at No. 1 doubles.
Westminster will head to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to take on Geneva on Wednesday, April 14 at 6 p.m.
