GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Westminster volleyball team continued their winning ways with a 3-0 shutout of Grove City on the road Thursday evening.
Westminster won set one, 25-15, set two 25-12, and set three 25-12. The shutout was the Titans' fifth of the season.
The Titans, who received national votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches of America (AVCA) NCAA Division III Coaches Top 25 Poll, improved to 7-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play (7-1 overall), while Grove City dropped to 5-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

Maya Steward (Los Angeles, CA / William Howard Taft) led Westminster with a double-double of a match-high 13 kills and 15 digs. Classmate
Becky Adelman (Randolph, OH / Waterloo) also had double-digit kills with 12. Sophomore
Kaylee Sciubba (Tarentum, PA / Deer Lakes) followed with nine kills, to go along with her season- and match-high six blocks. First-year
Lauren Lampus (Sarver, PA / Freeport Area) had seven kills and earned eight digs. Lampus also knocked down a match-high two service aces. Junior
Samantha Kelly (Irwin, PA / Penn-Trafford) tied a match-high with 21 assists, while sophomore
Isabelle Snyder (Centerville, PA / Maplewood) had 18 assists and added nine digs. First-year
Malia Duffy (Allison Park, PA / North Allegheny) led the defense with a match-high 16 digs.
Westminster was in the lead for the majority of the first set and finished off the set with three-straight points, including a kill by each Steward and Adelman. The Titans never trailed in the second set and pulled away with an 8-0 run to take a comfortable 14-6 lead; senior
Megan Steele (Corry, PA / Corry) led the Titans with a pair of kills during the run. Westminster once again did not trail in the third set and sealed the set and match outscoring the Wolverines 11-2 to finish out the frame.
The Titans have two more regular season matches to go before the PAC Tournament and are back on the court Wednesday, March 31 against Franciscan for their home regular season finale. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
