NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster women's tennis team not only remained undefeated on the year, but won their second-straight complete 9-0 shutout as the Titans blanked the visiting Thiel Tomcats at home on Sunday.
All Westminster singles remained undefeated for the season, led by first-year
Amanda Barrett (Sarasota, FL / Suncoast Polytechnical) who topped Natalie Zgurich, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1. Barrett and No. 1 doubles partner senior
Julia Serbati (Oil City, PA / Oil City Area) also remained unbeaten with an 8-1 win over Thiel's duo of Natalie Zgurich and Sarah Haritos.
Westminster improved to 3-0 (3-0 PAC), while Thiel dropped to 0-3 (0-3 PAC) on the season.
The Titans are back on the court, Tuesday, March 30 against Waynesburg their fourth-straight home match at 4 p.m.
