NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster men's soccer team won, 2-1, against the Bethany Bison, in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup at home on Wednesday night.
Westminster (7-5, 3-0 PAC) gained early momentum as graduate student

Marc Esqueda (San Bruno, CA / Junipero Serra) gathered a loose ball and blasted a goal, which would be the eventual game-winner, marking Esqueda's first career game-winner. The Titans took a 2-1 lead to intermission.
During the second half, each team's defense stepped up limiting the scoring chances. Westminster's defense answered the call by making numerous stops and sealing the victory.

Westminster is back in action on Saturday, October 9 as it travels to Greenville, Pa. to take on the Thiel Tomcats in PAC competition. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
