BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Westminster College women's soccer team fell to tournament-host Buffalo State College by a final score of 2-0 to conclude the Buffalo State Bengals Classic on Saturday evening.
Westminster fell to 3-2 on the season, while the Bengals improved to 2-3.
The Bengals tacked on the first two goals of the game when Alexis Hanson scored in the 19
th and 32
nd minute to give the Bengals a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Despite being down 2-0, the Titans were only outshot 7-3 and matched the Bengals in corner kicks (2-2) in the first half. The two first half-goals proved to be enough as Buffalo State held on for the 2-0 victory.
The Bengals bested the Titans in shots (15-5), while both teams tied in corner kicks (3-3).

Julia Redilla (Harmony, PA / Seneca Valley) led Westminster with two shots and sophomore
Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) registered a game-high two saves in net.
Westminster will return to the pitch on Monday evening when it takes on Carlow University at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
