HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Westminster College men's tennis team lost, 7-2, to Nebraska Wesleyan University on Tuesday.
Nebraska Wesleyan (2-4) won singles no. 2 through no. 6. Westminster (0-3) earned a win at no. 1 singles, courtesy of sophomore
Miguel Ascencio (Venitia, PA / Peters Township), who topped Gabriel Sellmer, 6-4, 6-1. Ascencio was also part of the Titans' lone doubles win as he teamed up with freshman
Logan Mannhiermer (South Park, PA / South Park) for an 8-4 victory at no. 1 over the twosome of Sellmer and Spencer Anderson.
Westminster will next play Millikin University on Thursday, March 14 in S.C.
