Box Score BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team fell to Geneva in a 4-3 penalty-kick shootout after a 0-0 double overtime tie on the road in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday evening.
 
Westminster, the No. 3 seed, finished its schedule with an overall record of 10-7-3. Geneva, the No. 2 seed, moved to 10-8-1 and advanced to the title game.
 
In the first half, the Titans and Golden Tornadoes each got their fair share of offense, with the Titans narrowly outshooting Geneva 6-5 in the first half. Titan senior goalkeeper Ezra Cimino (Brookline, MA / Waldorf) was able to make a pair of saves to keep the game tied heading into halftime.
 
In the second half, the game switched to a more defensive-oriented pace, as both teams only generated five shots total to send the game into overtime.
 
In both overtime periods, the Titans were the only team to accumulate shots on goal with four. However, Geneva goalkeeper Gabe Kemp was able to keep the Titans off of the scoreboard and sent the game into penalty kicks.
 
In penalty kicks, Geneva replaced its starting goalkeeper, Gabe Kemp, with Nate Burkhart, who gave Geneva momentum by stopping the first Titan PK. Westminster stayed in the fight with PK goals from seniors Peter Mattocks (Saegertown, PA / Saegertown), Nick Cimini (Mars, PA / Mars Area) and Ahmed Cisse (Germantown, MD / Clarksburg). However, the Titans fifth and final PK went high to send the Golden Tornadoes to the PAC Championship Game.  
 
The Titans narrowly outshot the Golden Tornadoes (13-8) and led in corner kicks (10-2).
 
Cimino collected two saves in the complete-game effort. Cimini had a game-high five shots, including two shots on goal. Cisse was named to the PAC All-Tournament Team.
