Box Score WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team fell to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent, Washington & Jefferson by a score of 5-3 in the semifinals of the PAC Championship Tournament on Friday.
 
Westminster dropped to 13-3 overall. W&J improved its overall record to 10-5.
 
Seniors Margo Mason (Pittsburgh, PA / Chartiers Valley) and Alex Marzouca (Kingston, Jamaica / Immaculate Conception) paired together to win their No. 1 doubles match by a score of 8-2.  Junior Casey Barton (New York City, NY / Dominican Academy) and sophomore Sara Small (Beaver, PA / Beaver Area) also teamed together to give the Titans an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles. Small was also the only Titans to win her singles match, claiming a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles.
 
Westminster defeated Thiel College, 9-0, in the PAC quarterfinals on Monday. At the conclusion of the tournament, Small was named to the PAC All-Tournament Team.
 
This is the second year the PAC Championship Tournament will feature a team championship bracket format. The league had previously sponsored a flighted championship, with individual players and doubles pairings exclusively seeded and not based on a team's regular-season finish, since supporting a full complement of women's sports (1985-2017).

6. Sara Small (WES) def. Vanesa Hyde (WJC) 6-2, 6-1
