GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Westminster College volleyball team earned a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) shutout on the road with a 3-0 victory at Grove City College Thursday evening.
Westminster (23-3, 12-1 PAC) won by the scores of 25-20, 25-17, and 25-16. The Titans never trailed in the first set. In the second set, Grove City (16-8, 6-7 PAC) had a 12-11 lead before the Titans went on a 10-3 run to pull away. In the final set, just like the first set, Westminster was never behind to seal the victory.

Samantha Kelly (Irwin, PA / Penn-Trafford) tied a match-high with 16 assists, followed by junior
Haley Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) with 14. Steward and DeGeorge both had two aces. Senior
Josie Toporcer (Warren, OH / Lordstown) led the defense with a match-high 21 digs. DeGeorge and Steward also had double-digit digs with 14 and 13, respectively. First-year
Kaylee Sciubba (Tarentum, PA / Deer Lakes) registered a match-best five blocks.
The Titans are back on the court Saturday, Oct. 26 at 12 p.m. as they host No. 18 nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon University.
