NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected men's soccer senior forward Ahmed Cisse as its Titan Athlete of the Week for his performance during the week of September 23.
 
Cisse scored in both of Westminster's wins last week. In Wednesday's victory over Oberlin, he scored the first goal of the match off a Nathan Otero (Rio Rancho, NM / V Sue Cleveland) assist in the 16th minute. Cisse posted a pair of second half scores in Saturday's PAC-opening win against Bethany. He also assisted on a Nate Taylor (Pittsburgh, PA / Keystone Oaks) goal in the 21st minute. Cisse's 11 points (4G, 3A) this season leads the league. Cisse was also named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Westminster will return to the pitch tonight when it takes on Alfred University in a non-conference matchup on the road. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
