ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Westminster College women's tennis team fell to the University of Mount Union, 7-2, in a non-conference match on Friday evening.
 
Westminster fell to 1-2 overall on the season, while Mount Union improved to 1-0 on the year.
 
Junior Alex Marzouca (Kingston, Jamaica / Immaculate Conception) was victorious at number two singles, defeating her opponent, 6-2, 6-0. Sophomore Julia Serbati (Oil City, PA / Oil City Area) and first-year Sara Small (Beaver, PA / Beaver Area) teamed up at number two doubles for an 8-5 victory.
 
Westminster is back in action Saturday, September 15 at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Bethany College. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
