LATROBE, Pa. – The Westminster College volleyball team concluded the Bearcat Challenge undefeated after shutting out Oberlin College, 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-23), on Saturday.
 
Junior Reilly DeGeorge (Ashtabula, OH / Saint John) registered 15 kills, 16 digs, and two service aces. First-year Maya Steward (Los Angeles, CA / William Howard Taft) also had double-digit kills (11) and digs (14). Senior Shanna Daniels (Hermitage, PA / Billy C. Ryan) dished out 20 assists, to go along with 10 digs. Sophomore Hannah Santom (Grove City, PA / Grove City) added 13 assists. Senior Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) led the defense with 22 digs and added one ace.
 
The Titans improved to 3-0 on the season, while Oberlin dropped to 1-3.
 
Titan senior Delaney Saxton (Cortland, OH / Brookfield) was named on the Bearcat Challenge All-Tournament Team.
 
On Friday night, the Titans blanked Frostburg State University, 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-21), in game one and outlasted John Carroll University, 3-2 (25-19, 23-25, 27-25, 22-25, 15-13), in their second match of the night.
The Titans are next on the court Tuesday, September 4 for their home opener against La Roche College with a 7 p.m. start time.
