BETHANY, W. Va. – The Westminster College men's lacrosse team wrapped up its 2018 season with a 19-9 win at Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) foe Bethany College Saturday afternoon.
Westminster (6-8, 4-6 ORLC) never trailed in the game and outscored Bethany (4-12, 1-9 ORLC), 11-3, at halftime. The Titans picked up where they left off from the first half in the third quarter with a 5-1 goal advantage in the frame. The Bison scored five times in the fourth to the Titans' three.
Bethany cut Westminster's lead to 5-3 with 11:13 left in the second quarter. The Titans, however, pulled away with 11-straight goals and led 16-3 with 6:53 remaining in the third.

Dante Serra (Center Valley, PA / Southern Lehigh), and freshman
Shane Fisher (Palm Harbor, FL / East Lake) each tallied a game-high four goals for Westminster.

Carter Hall (Zeeland, MI / Zeeland West) collected 13 saves in a complete-game effort.
Westminster led in shots-on-goal (33-22) and face offs (17-15), while the Bison held a slight advantage in ground balls, 36-35. Sophomore
Steven Knight (Wyckoff, NJ / Ramapo) gathered in a team- and career-high 10 ground balls.
