Westminster (22-6, 13-1 PAC) scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second inning after sophomore
Lauren McNany (Emlenton, PA / Allegheny-Clarion Valley) scored off a wild pitch. The Titans added two more runs in the top of the third courtesy of an RBI-single from senior
Jazmyn Rohrer (Purcellville, VA / Woodgrove) and a ground ball from senior
Nikki Anderson (Oakmont, PA / Riverview) that scored Rohrer, giving Westminster a 3-0 lead. Thiel (10-20, 5-9 PAC) mustered just three hits over seven innings as Rohrer (17-2) pitched a complete-game, walking one batter and striking out five. Rohrer has now pitched 47.1 straight innings without giving up an earned run. Senior
Addie Dieterich (Purcellville, VA / Loudoun Valley) finished 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI, while senior
Courtney Cohen (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington) finished 1-for-2 with a double and one walk. Senior
Alexa Owrey (New Castle, PA / Shenango) drew three walks at the plate.
Westminster is back in action Wednesday, April 25 at PAC foe Thomas More College for a doubleheader starting at 3:30 p.m.
