NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected the men's soccer team as its Titan Athletes of the Week. 

The Titans, under 21^st-year Head Coach Girish Thakar, captured the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship this past weekend. Second-seeded Westminster defeated third-seeded Bethany College, 1-0, in the Semifinals on Tuesday, before upsetting top-seeded Grove City College, 1-0, for the Title on Saturday. Against Grove City, senior Shane Fallen (Blue Bell, PA / Wissahickon) scored the game-winning goal in the 23rd minute, while senior goalkeeper AJ Bove (New Stanton, PA / Hempfield Area) tallied a career-high 11 saves. The PAC Title marked the fifth for Westminster (2015, 2008, 2006, 2002).
 
The Titans will play Capital University in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m. Case Western Reserve University will serve as the host.
