NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team fell to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Grove City College, 8-1, at home on Friday afternoon.
The match was a continuation of Wednesday's rained out contest held at Grove City. The Wolverines entered the match leading by a score of 3-1. Westminster fell to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in PAC play, while Grove City improved to 9-0 overall and 7-0 in conference play.

Alex Marzouca (Kingston, Jamaica / Immaculate Conception) teamed up at number one doubles for an 8-4 victory.

Westminster will next compete on Tuesday, October 16 in the quarterfinals of the PAC Championships. The semifinals will be held on Friday, October 15 (1 p.m.) followed by the finals on Saturday, October 16 (4 p.m.) at Washington & Jefferson's Janet Swanson Tennis Center in Washington, Pa. The location and time of the quarterfinals is to be determined.
