NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team defeated Waynesburg University, 9-0, at home Thursday afternoon.
Westminster improved its overall record to 4-3, while staying undefeated in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play at 3-0. Waynesburg dropped to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

Gabriele Eaborn (Coraopolis, PA / West Allegheny) and
Patricia Pivaronas (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0. Gabriele was the No.1 seed, while Patricia was the No.3. First year Titans

The Titan doubles teams continued the excellent performance, with Eaborn/Serbati (No. 1) winning 8-2 and Marzouca/Pivaronas (No. 2) winning 8-0. Barton and first-year
McKenna Robinson (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) (No. 3) won by default, 8-0.
Westminster is back in action Saturday, September 23 at home against Thiel College. Start time is slated for 11 a.m.
