MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season at Allegheny College in non-conference action on Monday. The Titans lost, 6-3.
Junior
Gabriele Eaborn (Coraopolis, PA / West Allegheny) won at number one singles, 6-2, 6-3. Senior
Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, PA / Hollidaysburg) won at number four singles, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8). Turiano and senior
Stephanie Homitz (New Brighton, PA / New Brighton) teamed up for an 8-6 win at number two doubles.
The Titans dropped to 15-5 overall, while Allegheny improved to 7-11.
Westminster claimed the PAC's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships after winning the PAC Championship in October. Preliminary rounds are scheduled to be played in May.
