CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Westminster College women's lacrosse team lost, 17-7, at Thomas More College in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) contest Sunday afternoon.
Titan senior
Anne Tillie (Fallston, MD / Fallston) scored a team- and career-high four goals (two in the first half (24:17, 20:14) and two in the second half (22:37, 20:16). Freshman
Bria Braddock (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) also netted a goal, her team-leading 10
th on the season. Sophomore
Emily D'Amico (Moon Township, PA / Moon Area) scored the final two Titan goals, including the first of her career. Titan senior goalkeeper
Jesse Reichard (State College, PA / State College) (0-3) collected four saves in 30 minutes of work. Junior
Alyssa Rossi (Bay Village, OH / Bay Village) also earned four saves.
Thomas More (2-5, 1-1 ORLC) led 11-3 at halftime and outscored the Titans 6-4 in the second half. The Saints outhit the Titans 33-21, including 25-14 on goal, and also held a 24-10 advantage in ground balls. D'Amico gathered in a team- and career-high three ground balls, while Tillie had two.
Westminster (0-3, 0-3 ORLC) is back in action Wednesday, April 5 for its first home game in school history against ORLC foe Washington & Jefferson College at 7:30 p.m.
