NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's tennis team lost, 5-4, to Thiel College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest at home on Wednesday.
Titan junior
Kornel Foremski (Shaker Heights, OH / Shaker Heights) won at number two singles, 6-1, 6-1. Foremski also teamed up with junior
A.J. May (Butler, PA / Butler) for an 8-3 win at number one doubles. Junior
Fedja Smajic (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin) (no. 4/6-4, 6-3) and senior
Jon Clark (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington) (no. 6/6-1, 6-0) also earned single victories.
Westminster will next travel to Washington & Jefferson College on Tuesday, April 18 for a 4:30 p.m. match.
