NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College volleyball team won, 3-0 (25-16, 25-7, 25-23), over Pennsylvania State University Altoona at home in the opening round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament.
The Titans improved to 27-6 overall and advance to the semifinals, while the Lions dropped to 13-14 overall.

Kendell Dickson (Cochranton, PA / Cochranton) led the offense with a match-high 12 kills, followed by senior
Lexie Yoho (Pittsburgh, PA / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) (9), sophomore
Reilly DeGeorge (Ashtabula, OH / Saint John) (8), and junior
Delaney Saxton (Cortland, OH / Brookfield) (6). Yoho also registered a career-high 10 blocks, to go along with six digs. Junior
Shanna Daniels (Hermitage, PA / Billy C. Ryan) dished out a match-best 14 assists, while first-year
Hannah Santom (Grove City, PA / Grove City) had 11. Daniels, DeGeorge, and Santom each tied a match-high with two service aces. Junior
Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) led the Titan defense with 14 digs, while Dickson earned 10. Santom and DeGeorge tallied eight and seven digs, respectively. Saxton and Dickson each had four blocks.
The Titans will play at Frostburg State University (16-11) in the ECAC Semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. Frostburg, in Frostburg, Md., will be hosting the Semifinals on Saturday and the Championship on Sunday, Nov. 12.
