NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team lost, 2-0, to No. 21 nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon University in a non-conference game at home Friday night.
Carnegie Mellon (5-0-0) registered its first goal at the 32:36 mark when Andreas Fatschel scored with a header off a corner kick by Anthony Gulli.
The Tartans added insurance with a goal at the 56:50 mark in the second half after Philip Petrakian found Greg Bellwoar with a corner kick.

AJ Bove (New Stanton, PA / Hempfield Area) earned seven saves in 90 minutes of work.
For the game, Carnegie Mellon out-shot Westminster 16-8, including a 9-4 advantage in shots-on-goal.
Westminster (3-3-2) will next play at Penn State Behrend on Wednesday, September 21 with a 7 p.m. start time.
