MARIETTA, Ohio – The Westminster College men's soccer team tied Denison University, 0-0, in double overtime in its first game of the Marietta College Tournament on Saturday.
 
Titan sophomore goalkeeper AJ Bove (New Stanton, PA / Hempfield Area) collected a career-high nine saves in a complete-match effort.
 
For the game, Denison (1-1-1) out-shot Westminster, 20-15, including a 9-5 shots-on-goal advantage.
 
Freshman Peter Mattocks (Saegertown, PA / Saegertown) and junior Zack Walters (Hermitage, PA / Hickory) led Westminster with two shots-on-goal each.
 
The Titans (2-2-1) will complete the tournament tomorrow with a 12 p.m. match versus Marietta.
