WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College baseball team lost, 17-0, at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Washington & Jefferson College in a nine-inning game Tuesday night.
 
Washington & Jefferson (12-8, 6-3 PAC) scored four runs in the third inning, one in the fifth, one in the sixth, eight in the seventh, and three in the eighth. For the game, the Presidents out-hit the Titans 17-3. Westminster freshman 
Joseph Salmen (New Castle, PA / Union), senior 
Ryan Dunn (Freeport, PA / Freeport), and junior 
Kellen Gursky (Greenville, PA / Reynolds) each registered a hit.
 
Titan junior pitcher 
Sean Coyne (New Castle, PA / New Castle) (1-4) threw 6.0 innings, giving up six runs (two earned) on eight hits. Coyne struck out three batters and walked six.  
 
Westminster (2-21, 0-11 PAC) will next play at Thiel College on Wednesday, April 13 at 4 p.m.
