KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Westminster College softball team lost both of its games in day two of its Rebel Spring Games trip in Florida on Saturday.
Westminster lost, 8-0, in six innings to Central College in game one and lost, 12-0, to Coe College in game two.
In the first game, Titan senior pitcher
Amber Forrest (Clear Spring, MD / Clear Spring) went five innings. She gave up six runs on seven hits, while striking out three. First-year
Kailey Liverman (Purcellville, VA / Loudoun Valley), senior
Lexi Sheffer (Seneca, PA / Cranberry), sophomore
Nicole Anderson (Oakmont, PA / Riverview) each registered a single.Â
In game two, Westminster sophomore pitcher
Jazmyn Rohrer (Purcellville, PA / Woodgrove) pitched five innings, while giving up six runs on six hits. She registered two strikeouts. Liverman recorded a single, while junior
Emily Lindsey (Freeport, PA / Freeport) connected on a double.Â
The Titans will continue their Florida slate with two games on Sunday. Westminster will play Baldwin Wallace University at 9 a.m. and Husson University at 11:15 a.m.Â
