NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's basketball team won its final game of the season, 63-59, at home on Senior Day over Geneva College Saturday afternoon.
Westminster (4-21, 4-14 PAC) started the game with a 10-0 lead with 1:24 remaining in the first quarter and led 10-4 after one. Geneva (9-16, 6-12 PAC) took its first lead of the game (13-10) after a three-pointer by Callie Ford with 7:19 remaining in the first half. The Golden Tornadoes took their largest lead (22-15) after another three by Ford with 2:51 on the clock. The Titans battled back and ended the half with a 7-3 run to cut Geneva's lead to 25-22 at intermission. The Titans took a 41-40 lead at the end of the third quarter after a layup by sophomore

Tied 52-52 with 3:19 remaining in the game, Westminster went up 56-52, capped off by a pair of free throws with 59 seconds left. Geneva got within one point of Westminster's lead (58-57) after a three-pointer with 21 seconds remaining. The Titans sealed the win after making five of their last six free throws.

Kylie Cook (Pittsburgh, PA / Mount Lebanon) led all scorers with 19 points. Junior
Rachel Durbin (Lowellville, OH / Lowellville) and Fromknecht added nine points each, while Quinn and sophomore
Kendell Dickson (Cochranton, PA / Conchranton) scored eight each. Fromknecht tied a career-high with a game-high 11 rebounds, followed by Dickson who also had a career-high with 10 boards. Fromknecht and sophomore
Ashley McConahy (New Wilmington, PA / Ellwood City) each had a team-high two blocks. Durbin tied a game-high with a team-high five assists, while Quinn added four.
