GROVE CITY, Pa. – Junior
Paul Columbo (Boca Raton, FL / West Boca Raton Community) threw four touchdowns in the Westminster College football team's 52-23 win at Grove City College Saturday afternoon.
Westminster improved to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while Grove City fell to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
Westminster led 38-3 at halftime and 52-9 at the end of the third quarter.
Columbo went 10 of 17 for 204 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. He found freshman
D'Aundre Johnson (New Kensington, PA / Valley) (23 yards) and sophomore
Bryson Paulinellie (DuBois, PA / Dubois Area) (54 yards) in the first quarter and junior
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) twice (41, 38 yards) in the second.
Titan junior
Dominique McKinley (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg-Salem) ran for 64 yards on 13 carries and a score. Freshman
Keano Grice (Beach, FL / West Boca Raton Community) added two scores (3, 8 yards).
Westminster senior kicker
Justin Dahl (Cochranton, PA / Maplewood) added a 28-yard field goal.
Grove City scored its three touchdowns in the second half, the game's final points. Its first came off an 87-yard pass from Caleb Jakiel to Nick Ponikvar with six minutes remaining in the third. Jakiel scored on a one-yard run in the beginning of the fourth. Grove City's Antonio Carroscia found Matt Pennypacker from 19 yards out with under two minutes remaining. Mitch Causer also had a 29-yard field goal for the Wolverines.
For the game, the Titans out-gained the Wolverines 429 yards (203 rushing, 226 passing) to 423 (119 rushing, 304 passing).

Bill Madeja (Pittsburgh, PA / Brentwood) earned a forced fumble.
Westminster is back on the field Saturday, October 22 with a home game versus Washington & Jefferson College at 1 p.m.
