BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - The Westminster College volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-20) to Geneva College Tuesday night.
The Titans dropped to 5-15 overall and 3-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while the Golden Tornadoes improved to 15-1 and 5-0 in the conference.
Senior
Megan Prybyl (Mars, PA / North Catholic) led the Titans with a double-double as she had team-highs 10 kills and 11 digs.
Sophomore
Lexie Yoho (Pittsburgh, PA / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) added six kills. First-year
Shanna Daniels (Edinburg, PA / Billy C. Ryan, TX) dished out a team-high 11 assists, while senior
Tiffany Jackson (Las Vegas, NV / Las Vegas) had nine.
First-year
Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) registered eight digs, while Jackson and junior
Megan Little (Slippery Rock, PA / Slippery Rock) tallied six each. Junior
Katie Pricener (Wilmerding, PA / Serra Catholic), junior
Lauren Slater (Plum, PA / Oakland Catholic), and Yoho each had a match-high three blocks.
Westminster will next compete on Thursday in the Saint Vincent College Tri-Match. The Titans will play Chatham University at 6 p.m. and Saint Vincent at 8 p.m.
