NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College volleyball team lost 3-0 to the visiting Carnegie Mellon University Tartans in the Titans' season opener on Tuesday night inside Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.
The Tartans (2-0) won 25-14, 25-19, and 25-19.
Senior
Megan Prybyl (Mars, PA / North Catholic) led the Titan offense with seven kills, while classmate
Tiffany Jackson (Las Vegas, NV / Las Vegas) dished out a team-high 16 assists.
First-year
Delaney Saxton (Cortland, OH / Brookfield) and sophomore
Kendell Dickson (Cochranton, PA / Cochranton) each had five kills. First-year
Shanna Daniels (Edinburg, PA / Billy C. Ryan, TX) chipped in with nine assists.

Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) led the defense with 15 and 11 digs, respectively. Prybyl added seven digs.
The Titans are back on the court this Friday when they compete in day one of the two-day Mount Union Invitational in Alliance, Ohio. Westminster will play Trine University at 6 p.m. and Denison University at 8 p.m.
