WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Westminster College football team won its third-straight game after a 24-7 win at Waynesburg University in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday.
The win snaps a three-game losing streak against the Yellow Jackets for the Titans.
Waynesburg (2-5, 1-4 PAC) scored first on its second drive of the game. Jake Dougherty found Dan Davis for a 15-yard touchdown pass, concluding an 8-play, 68-yard drive. After a Scott Lewis extra point, the Yellow Jackets led 7-0 with 2:35 remaining in the first quarter.

Todd Jeter (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) intercepted a Dougherty pass on fourth-and-one from Westminster's six-yard line. Jeter now has a team-leading four interceptions on the season. Westminster capitalized and drove down the field 95 yards, capped off with a four-yard touchdown pass from sophomore

Justin Dahl's (Cochranton, PA / Maplewood) point-after-touchdown tied the game, 7-7, with 19 seconds to go in the first half.
Westminster (5-2, 4-1 PAC) took the lead on its second drive of the second half after Walker connected with sophomore
Jametrius Bentley (Lake Worth, FL / Park Vista Community) for a 53-yard touchdown. Another Dahl PAT put the Titans in front 14-7 with 3:24 to play in the third.
Dahl extended Westminster's lead to 17-7 with a 36-yard field goal on the Titans' next possession.
Titan sophomore
Dominique McKinley (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg-Salem) added insurance with a four-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, for his third rushing score on the year.
For the game, Westminster out-gained Waynesburg 369 yards (185 rushing/117 passing) to 261 yards (184 rushing/144 passing).
McKinley led on the ground with 99 yards off 24 carries and a score. Walker went 14-for-27 for a game-high 184 yards, two scores, and an interception. Bentley led all receivers with five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Junior
Mac Quinn (Pittsburgh, PA / Northgate) led the Titans with a game-high 16 tackles, including a game-high three tackles for a loss. Senior
Justin Shaw (Monaca, PA / Central Valley) added eight tackles, including 1.5 tackles for a loss and a sack. Sophomore CJ Armstrong (Lake Worth, FL / Park Vista) and freshman
Nick Casadei (Lake Worth, FL / Park Vista Community) each added a sack.
Westminster will enter its bye week next week and will next host Saint Vincent College on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m.
