BETHANY, W. Va. - The Westminster College volleyball team lost, 3-1, at Bethany College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action Tuesday night.
The Titans were down 2-0 after losing set one 25-16 and set two 25-20. Westminster regrouped and won set three, 25-23, however Bethany sealed the victory after a 25-22 set four win.
Sophomore
Lexie Yoho (Pittsburgh, PA / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) led the Titan offense with 15 kills, while senior
Megan Prybyl (Mars, PA / North Catholic) registered 11. First-year
Delaney Saxton (Cortland, OH / Brookfield) added six kills. Senior
Tiffany Jackson (Las Vegas, NV / Las Vegas) and first-year
Shanna Daniels (Edinburg, PA / Billy C. Ryan, TX) had 17 and 15 assists, respectively. Jackson also had a team-high three service aces.
Five Titans tallied double-digit digs, led by Daniels with 16. Prybyl had 15 digs, followed by Jackson and first-year
Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) with 14 each. Westminster senior
Kelsey Kilbane (Medina, OH / Medina) added 12 digs. Sophomore
Callie Jacobs (Pittsburgh, PA / Bishop Canevin) led Westminster with a match-high three blocks.
Westminster dropped to 7-21 overall and 4-8 in the PAC, while the Bison improved to 20-7 overall and 10-2 in the conference.
The Titans will next host Saint Vincent College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
